DHT is a proud SmartWay High Performer! The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) SmartWay Transport Partnership program is an excellent way for carriers and shippers to assess and reduce their environmental footprint. DHT is SmartWay Approved in our Dry Van, Flatbed, and Propane divisions. Under five percent of all SmartWay logistics companies meet the emissions and carrier selection criteria to make the SmartWay High Performer list for logistics companies.
As a company, we strive to continuously improve our operations and become a more sustainable transportation company to work to reduce our environmental impact.
Since 2004, EPA SmartWay Partners have avoided emitting more than 103 million tons of air pollutants (NOx, PM, and CO2), while saving more than 215.4 million barrels of oil and $29.7 billion in fuel costs.
