Essential Duties:
• Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods
• Complete all “pre-trip” requirements and “post-trip” requirements at the end of each shift
• Operates a powered industrial vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over route, obeying traffic laws and observing safety regulations
• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals
• Maintains work orders, invoices, shipping bills, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to staff
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing at terminals and with Dispatch, Drivers, vendors, and customers
• Facilitates routine service on trucks, reports maintenance malfunctions to appropriate parties
• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
• Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy
Compensation Package:
• Competitive pay – Average $1,200-1,800 week (gross payment)

Requirements
• Licensed CDL Class A Driver
• X endorsement is required
• Must have a clean MVR
• Position is OTR – general schedule of 6 days on and 2 days off
• 1+ year of tanker/propane driving experience strongly preferred
Preferred Requirements:
• 3+ years of tanker/propane driving experience
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
